American White Oak Super Accelerator size Medium-Plus Toast
Super Accelerator American White Oak with Medium PLUS Toast has all of the speedy properties mentioned in the description of the Super Accelerator Medium toast, with a difference in flavor.
Taste is subjective, but most people notice that the vanilla and caramel hints tend to recede a bit, and the coconut disappears. Try making a batch and compare with the Medium Toast to see which you prefer. Be careful not to leave the Super Accelerator for too long. If you overdo the infusion, the flavors will become flat, and sometimes bitter. The same is true when bourbon is left in a barrel for too long.
To officially be called Bourbon in the USA the wood must never have been used before, but since my batches are being created as a hobby in my own kitchen I may ocassionally take lincence with this, however when I do, I call those batches verisimo bourbon 😉.
Officially, each pack will make one batch of Bourbon then after being used to create the Bourbon it will make two batches of Scotch. .
