Heavy toast oak is the place to go if you are looking for hints of smoke, spices, almonds, coffee, and possibly butterscotch.  Again, taste is very subjective, and each batch of wood is a bit different.  The best option is to try it, taste it against other toast levels, and see what you really enjoy.  We suggest you get a case of mason jars, labels, and keep great records and samples of your runs to compare.  The fastest infusion size we can make for Heavy Toast is the flake size.  Watch the color of your batch, it will give you some idea of when to start tasting, and taste very small amounts frequently until you get the flavors you are looking for.
